Thumbs Up EP-1 replaces the earlier Thumbs Up CS-1 model, which is no longer produced.
Thumbs Up EP-1 is the same short length as Thumbs Up CS-1, but the grip has a new ergonomic profile (hence the "EP" designation). The thumb grip surface is now angled at 22 degrees, and the new shape distributes the pressure from your thumb more uniformly. This refinement allows you to hold your camera extremely rigidly, yet with great comfort.
Thumbs Up EP-1 is CNC machined from solid brass billet. A silicon rubber insert provides a cushion between the camera body and your Thumbs Up CSEP-1. The top of the EP-1 is smooth and sits flush to the top of the camera when inserted into the hotshoe, giving a very polished appearance.
Thumbs Up EP-1 will fit the following Leica M models: M9, M8-2, M8, M7, M6, M6 TTL, M4, M3 and M2.
The EP-1G in steel gray matches the finish of the steel gray M9.
