Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free UPS Ground shipping for any order over $100.00 within the United States. We do not offer free shipping for orders outside the United States.
What shipping options do you offer within the United States?
In addition to UPS Ground, we offer a variety of expedited services for an additional cost including: UPS 3-Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS Next Day Air. We are also able to ship via FedEx upon request. Cost for shipping is calculated based on items ordered and delivery location.
Do you ship internationally?
We do offer international shipping only via UPS Worldwide Expedited to certain international locations. Please note that international purchasers are required to pay any import duties, taxes, and fees that may be associated with the shipment, in addition to the cost of shipping. We are only able to accept wire transfer payments for orders shipped outside the United States.
How can I have you ship to an address other than the billing address for my credit card?
For new customers requesting that items be shipped to an address other than a listing billing address for the credit card used, we recommend that the purchaser contact their credit card provider to add the shipping address as an authorized ship-to address. Once the shipping address is verified we are happy to accommodate your order.
When do you collect payment for an order?
If an order is paid for by credit card, you are not charged until the order is shipped. If you elect to pay via PayPal, you will be charged immediately as per PayPal's standard policy.
What payment types do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards, Google Checkout, PayPal, wire transfer, cash, and cashier's checks.
Do you accept credit cards with billing addresses outside of the United States?
We do not accept credit cards with billing addresses outside of the United States. We can only accept credit cards that have billing addresses within the United States. If you wish to place an order with us, and only have a credit card with an international billing address, we would require that payment be made via bank transfer.
Do you accept trade ins of used equipment?
Yes, we happily accept a wide variety of equipment on trade-in for other items, either new or used. We offer 80% of current market value towards the purchase of an item.
What is the procedure for trade ins?
To trade-in an item or items towards a purchase, please contact us so we can discuss a fair market value for the items. We do our best to make the trade-in process as straightforward and transparent as possible. Once we have established a fair market value based on a variety of criteria, the items can be sent to us for final confirmation of their condition. Upon receipt of the trade-in items, we can then send out the purchased item. Please call us at 1-800-327-1776 or email us with questions.
Do you purchase used equipment?
We purchase select items outright, and offer 70% of market value for purchasing. Payment is made promptly via check once the items are received and condition is verified. Contact us to find out more about your specific items.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 7 days of purchase (or delivery date if an item is shipped) for a full refund, and 14 days for store credit. Please note that items must be returned in the same condition in which they were purchased and all warranties and software must be unregistered to receive a full refund. A restocking fee may be applied if the return does not meet the above criteria.
Do you offer a "try before you buy” program?
For Leica products we do offer a comprehensive Test Drive program that allows you to try a variety of items for evaluation. Some of the test drive products include the Leica M system, Leica S system, and Leica's compact digital cameras. Contact us for more information.
What is your pre-order policy?
Sometimes items may not be available for immediate purchase due to a high demand/low supply situation. In this case, we accept pre-orders to allow you the opportunity to purchase one of these items. No deposit or prepayment is required. If an unavailable item is ordered off of our website, you will not be charged until the item actually ships. Alternatively, a pre-order can be placed by calling or emailing us and requesting that your information be placed on the appropriate waiting list. Orders are filled in date order only.
Can I place an order for an item that is out of stock?
Yes, you can place an order for an out-of-stock item and it is considered a pre-order. You will not be charged for the item until it ships, unless payment is made via PayPal, as they do withdraw funds immediately.
Can I come to your store to make a purchase?
Yes, in addition to our mail-order services, we have a complete retail location conveniently located off of I-95 in Hollywood, Florida. Our hours are 10am-5pm Monday-Friday, and 10am-2pm on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday. We have a full range of demo inventory available for walk-in customers.

Do you sell used equipment?
We have an extensive inventory of used equipment that changes daily. If you are looking for something specific, feel free to contact us.
What brands of cameras does your store offer?
We specialize exclusively in Leica cameras and accessories. While our used inventory consists of a wide range of brands, we do not offer new camera brands other than Leica. This allows us to provide a unique expertise on the full range of Leica products. All Dale Photo & Digital employees shoot extensively with Leica cameras.
